Lucknow University to Hold Entrance Test for New Integrated BBA-LLB Programme on July 29

Lucknow: Lucknow University will conduct the entrance examination for its newly introduced five-year integrated BBA-LLB programme on July 29 at the Faculty of Engineering, located at the university’s second campus. The examination will be held from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm, with candidates required to report to the examination centre by 1:30 pm. Admit cards have already been made available on the university’s official website.

The newly launched professional programme has received an enthusiastic response in its inaugural academic session, with around 800 applications received for 180 seats, reflecting strong interest among aspiring law and management students.

To ensure a fair and malpractice-free examination, the university has introduced mobile signal jammers at the examination centre. The initiative aims to eliminate the possibility of cheating through electronic devices and strengthen the transparency and integrity of the admission process.

The university administration has also issued detailed guidelines and a dress code for candidates. Applicants have been advised to wear simple, lightweight clothing. Garments with large buttons, metal zippers or multiple pockets are prohibited. Candidates are also not allowed to wear caps, scarves, sunglasses, jewellery or any metallic accessories. They have been advised to wear slippers or simple sandals to facilitate security checks.

Candidates must carry a printed copy of their admit card along with a valid original photo identity proof such as an Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, Driving Licence, Passport or PAN Card. The university has strictly prohibited mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, smartwatches, digital watches, calculators, electronic gadgets and any study material inside the examination hall.

Vice-Chancellor Prof. J.P. Saini described the BBA-LLB programme as one of the university’s most ambitious and employment-oriented academic initiatives. He said maintaining the sanctity, fairness and transparency of the entrance examination is the university’s highest priority, adding that stringent measures, including the installation of mobile jammers, have been implemented to ensure a secure and credible examination process.
